Recent Reports

The Epidemiology Division publishes reports, briefs, and fact sheets on special topics affecting West Virginia residents. These reports focus on topics such as asthma, chronic disease, drug overdose deaths, leading causes of death, and tobacco use. The most recent reports are listed by year of publication below. Within each year, the reports are organized in reverse chronological order using the date of publication. Reports are also listed by topic on the A-Z Report Index page and can be searched for using the Publication Search tool.

The Epidemiology Division within the Statistical Services Branch also publishes annual reports on vital statistics and major health issues/chronic diseases among West Virginians. These reports can be found under Vital Statistics and under Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System.
