Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Report Summary, 2020​

The charts below display prevalence estimates among West Virginia adults for select risk factors as measured by BRFSS. Prevalence is the percentage of the population having a particular condition or characteristic or practicing a specific health behavior. The BRFSS reports present results of BRFSS in West Virginia as prevalence estimates for select risk factors and health conditions among West Virginia adults. A 95% confidence interval is represented by black error bars surrounding the prevalence estimate which represent the sampling error. The true prevalence is expected to fall within the displayed range with a confidence of 95%.
