February 3, 2020 PATH implementation.
Coming soon! West Virginia inROADS is changing to West Virginia
People's Access to Help (WV PATH) on Monday, February 3, 2020. WV PATH mirrors
the capabilities of inROADS; however, it will have a new look and feel for
applying for benefits, reporting changes, and reviewing benefit information.
The launch of WV PATH means you will create a new username and password. You
will receive an email with instructions on how to create your WV PATH
credentials if you have identified an email address in your inROADS account.
Otherwise, on or after February 3, please access WV PATH at https://www.wvpath.org/ and select SIGN IN at the top of the
screen to create your new account. If you need help using WV PATH, customer
service will be available to assist you at 1-844-451-3515. Note: Draft
applications for benefits must be completed and submitted prior to January 31,
2020. Any draft applications that have not been submitted will need to be

The Bureau for Children and Families released The Study of Kinship Care Families October 2019 conducted by Second Chance, Inc through a grant from Casey Family Programs. The purpose of the study was to gain recommendations for improving services provided for kinship/relative foster care families. The study fulfills the requirements of House Bill 2010 (WV Code §49-2-111b) and addresses delays in foster care certification, payment options for relatives/kin and specific supports needed to best meet the needs of relative/kinship families involved with DHHR.
Please find below the FAQ document for transitioning foster care youth to managed care. This document will continue to be updated as new questions are posed and addressed.
