- Child Protective Services Worker: $2,500 with a one-year commitment may be provided to any candidate upon hire Boone, Braxton, Calhoun, Clay, Gilmer, Grant, Greenbrier, Hancock, Harrison, Kanawha, Marion, Mineral, Monongalia, Monroe, Pleasants, Pocahontas, Preston, Randolph, Ritchie, Roane, Taylor, and Webster counties. $5,000 with a one-year commitment may be provided to any candidate upon hire in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties.

- DoHS Unveils Major New Initiative to Strengthen Protective Services including a salary increase of 20% for Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services, and Youth Services classifications.
- Hiring incentive of $5,000 awarded to new hires in the positions of Accountant 1-5 and Accountant Supervisor.
