Department of Health

Welcome

The West Virginia Department of Health seeks to advance the health and well-being of all West Virginians by promoting healthy behaviors, working to mitigate public health crises, and increasing access to health-related resources and information.

As Cabinet Secretary for the West Virginia Department of Health, my primary goal is to improve the health of West Virginians. This includes ensuring access to quality health care services, promoting public health initiatives, and addressing the unique health challenges faced by West Virginians.

Leading the West Virginia Department of Health means taking on a range of health-related challenges within the state, and I am committed to addressing them effectively under the leadership of Governor Jim Justice.
