Sharon Lansdale of the Center for Community and Rural Health named West Virginia "Community Star" recipient: The Community Stars program, created by the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH), honors individuals, coalitions, and organizations working in and serving rural communities and supporting rural health collaboration, communication, education, or innovation.
Community Star designees represent the faces and grassroots initiatives that are working to address the social determinants of health and improve the lives of those who call rural their home. Each year, NOSORH releases an electronic publication of state winners coinciding with the observance of National Rural Health Day. Congratulations to Sharon! Please Click for More Info
