The
West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) reports as of 10:00 a.m., October 31,
2020, there have been 776,609 total confirmatory
laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 24,460 total
cases and 457 deaths.
DHHR
has confirmed the deaths of a 62-year
old male from Fayette County, a 70-year old male from Summers County, a 76-year
old female from Logan County, a 78-year old male from Cabell County, a 91-year
old male from Cabell County, and a 79-year old male from Kanawha County.
“The
loss of more West Virginians is truly heartbreaking,” said DHHR Cabinet
Secretary Bill J. Crouch. “To these families, we extend our deepest sympathy and
commitment to continue working to prevent this deadly virus.”
