Free COVID-19 Testing

Locate testing opportunities by utilizing the map or the list below the map which may be filtered by county by using the drop-down search-by-county box and selecting the desired county. The list is also searchable by keyword in the box to the right of the list. If you cannot find testing in your county, please check neighboring counties for sites convenient to your location.

Local health departments are shown with a blue pin, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) are shown with a green pin, recurring testing sites are shown with a red pin, and pharmacy testing sites are shown with a yellow pin.

Attendees should bring identification, such as a driver’s license or proof of address, to help in returning test results. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Proof of insurance may be requested. For those without insurance, the state will provide free antigen test kits through local health departments and most FQHCs across West Virginia.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has launched a new website to help consumers find free COVID-19 testing in their area. Find free COVID testing near you: testinglocator.cdc.gov/.
