 Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment

To register for the EIPA, please visit www.classroominterpreting.org, then using menu on left - select EIPA, then EIPA performance test. In the middle of that page will be the link to online registration. Registration for each test closes five days (120 hours) before day and time of test.
For available test dates, please click here.

Payment is for the test is also done online.
There will be a 3% fee added to all billing invoices sent from the EIPA Center to schools/agencies paying for EIPA tests (written and performance).

There are options available to avoid this extra fee.
  • Option 1 - involves collecting the registration information from test candidates and then having an individual in the agency/organization register the candidates with a company payment method.
  • Option 2 - involves the an agency purchasing coupon codes from the EIPA Center to distribute to test candidates, who then register themselves online using the one-time unique code. Coupon codes can be in any amount (complete test fee or half payments, etc.)
  • Option 3 - is a continuation of the previous invoice process with the additional fee added. If your company/agency sends a purchase order with registration forms, the purchase order must include the 3% fee.
