The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR), Bureau for Public Health is announcing a meeting of the West Virginia Medical Cannabis Advisory Board Tuesday, February 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the University of Charleston’s Riggleman Hall Auditorium.    

Chaired by Dr. Rahul Gupta, Commissioner and State Health Officer for DHHR’s Bureau for Public Health, the agenda will include updates from advisory board workgroups along with finalization of their recommendations for the West Virginia Legislature regarding medical cannabis.  

“The advisory board has received public input regarding medical cannabis during the past several months,” said Dr. Gupta.  “I look forward to hearing updates from the board and their decisions on recommendations to the West Virginia Legislature.”

This meeting is open to the public and will include a public comment period.
