There’s been a lot going on in the world of public health with the coronavirus pandemic hitting the U.S., and unquestionably, all the attention and concerns it has generated with the citizens in West Virginia.

Please know that we are actively supporting our state’s response efforts to keep the public safe and well informed. With the activation of DHHR Health Command, we are providing support to state and local agencies with the response which include coordination of testing at free community events and at healthcare/residential facility outbreaks.

With that we want to thank everyone for your continued support and partnership during this challenging time, especially our Local Health Departments and other community partners who continue to step up and support COVID-19 response activities.

Please remember to practice social distancing and wear face coverings in public, and/or especially around those vulnerable populations.

Stay safe and be well out there!
