Threat Preparedness

The Office of Laboratory Services Threat Preparedness Laboratories are responsible for biological and chemical testing of both clinical and environmental samples in response to public health threats.  OLS coordinates with state and local agencies to assist with assessments and investigations by providing rapid testing services for agents of terrorism including Anthrax, Ricin, nerve agents, and heavy metal poisoning.  Detailed information on these services can be found using the links below.
