VIDEO: WVCDHH Educates about Zika Virus Disease (Zika)

6/6/2016

The West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WVCDHH) has developed an infromational video to help educate at-risk populations within the state on the risk of Zika Virus Disease (Zika). The video also prompts viewers to view a supplemental video produced by DeafHealth and additional infromation via the CDC's Zika page.

The WVCDHH is an active partner in CTP's Access and Functional Needs (AFN) Workgroup, a planning an response partnership of governmental agencies and NGOs who plan and discuss best practices and mitigation techniques for at-risk populations within the state and strive to develop new channels of communication to ensure equal access to emergency information.
