September is National Preparedness Month. We'd like to take this opportunity to encourage you to build and maintain an emergency kit - a collection of basic items your household may need in the event of an emergency. The kit should be enough to survive for several days, including supplies for pets and those with special needs. FEMA has tips on what to consider at their Ready website. Taking simple steps may save your life - or the life of someone else. Preparing for emergencies is as easy as gearing up for game day!
