Handwashing

Keeping hands clean is one of the most important steps a person can take to avoid getting sick. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends washing hands with soap and water to reduce the amounts of all types of germs on hands. Handwashing can reduce respiratory illnesses in the general population by up to 21%.
