Program Specialists and an
Outreach Worker are available to assist you.
Nine regional
Program Specialists coordinate HealthCheck services with medical providers and recruit and train new primary care providers. HealthCheck Program Specialists focus on equipping Medicaid providers with the necessary tools and knowledge to carry out EPSDT screening services that meet reasonable standard of practice.
The
Outreach Worker use a combination of written and spoken methods to inform eligible individuals about:
- The benefits of preventive healthcare;
- The services available through EPSDT;
- That services are at no charge; and
- That support services, transportation and appointment scheduling assistance, are available upon request.
