Epidemiology
is the study of the distribution, determinants, and frequency of disease. The surveillance of diabetes in West Virginia is completed by the WV Health Statistics Center and supported by the WV Diabetes Prevention and Control Program via collection, analysis, and interpretation of various data sources.
