The WV Department of Health and Human Resources and Bureau for Medical Services, through collaboration with the WV Health Innovation Collaborative and SIM Initiative, have selected the following 10 HEDIS measures to be used in the (SFY) 2017 Managed Care contract. These measures focus on the State's key quality improvement goals in the areas of obesity, behavioral health and tobacco while continuing to work on other critical health measures. These measures will be subject to the program's payment withhold, by which MCOs will be able to achieve recoupment of funds based on performance in these 10 key areas compared to the national average.
