The Pre-Employment Project provides dental and vision services for eligible individuals who are receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits from the Department of Health and Human Resources. Throughout West Virginia there is a vast network of dental and vision providers who participate in the Pre-Employment Project.
Dental Services Include:
- Routine Exams
- Cleanings
- Fillings
- Extractions
- Dentures / Partials
- Root Canals
Vision Services Include:
- Routine eye exam
- Glasses, if needed
All the above mentioned services are provided to assist clients in becoming employable. There is a lifetime benefit amount that eligible participants are given upon accessing the Pre-Employment Project. To apply please contact your local DHHR office.
