Local Health Leadership Webinars In the fall of 2015, the Center for Local Health offered a series of Local Health Department Leadership Lunch and Learn Orientation webinars to help provide guidance and support for local boards of health and health departments specific to the provision of basic public health services. National Association of Local Boards of Health (http://www.nalboh.org/) The National Association of Local Boards of Health (NALBOH) informs, guides, and serves as the national voice for boards of health. NALBOH worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), other partners, and experts from the field to identify, review, and develop a model of Six Functions of Public Health Governance.
