Public Health Impact Task Force (PHITF)

Dr. Rahul Gupta, State Health Officer and Commissioner for the Bureau for Public Health (BPH), commissioned the PHITF with membership comprising of representatives from BPH, local health departments, private and public partner organizations, and policy makers. The goal of the task force is to redefine the mission of public health in West Virginia by making recommendations to define structural and organizational changes required to revolutionize the public health system.
