Central

Nutritionist- Greenbrier

Full-Time Nutritionist I/Dietitian/RN OR Nutrition Associate/LPN:  The Central WV WIC Program is hiring a Nutritionist I/Nurse I OR Nutrition Associate/LPN who will be based in the Greenbrier County office.  This individual will be responsible for certifying and counseling WIC clients along with providing individual and group nutrition education to caregivers and other community organizations.  Travel is required.  Click here​ for more details.

​Nutritionist- Beckley

Full time position in the Beckley area for the TSN WIC Program.  The Nutritionist 1 provides nutritional assessment, education and counseling to individuals and groups, primarily prenatal and pediatric clinics, with emphasis on participants in the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).  Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition, dietetics or public health nutrition; or a bachelor's degree in a related field with 12 hours in nutrition, or a registered nurse.  If you are interested in this position, you may submit your resume via email or mail. Nutrition Associate - Beckley

Full time position in the Beckley area for the TSN WIC Program.  The Nutrition Associate provides basic nutrition and breastfeeding assessment, education, and counseling to groups and individuals. Work is governed by federal regulations and state and local policies and procedures. This employee certifies participants in the WIC Program, and provides breastfeeding counseling to WIC participants.  Minimum Qualifications for Nutrition Associate Training: Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in food or nutrition-related field, food service management, dietary management, LPN, or related field. Substitution: Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the training on a year for year basis. Experience: One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in nutrition. Special Requirement for Nutrition Associate Competency-based/on-the-job training for certifying low-risk participants in WIC Program, or equivalent experience providing nutrition education.   If you are interested in this position, you may submit your resume via email or mail. Nutritionist- Charleston

Full time position in Charleston area for the Valley Health WIC Pro​gram. The Wheeling-Ohio County WIC Program is seeking a Nutritionist for the Brooke and Hancock County offices. Salary starts at $31,000.00. Under general supervision, performs beginning level professional work by promoting and presenting public health nutrition programs. Performs related work as required.  The Wheeling-Ohio WIC Program is seeking a Nutrition Associate for the Brooke and Hancock County offices. Salary starts at $27,729.00. Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major in a health, nutrition, child development, or behavioral sciences field. Under general supervision, performs at the associate level of work providing paraprofessional services to clients, such as income eligibility determination, health screening, and referrals to health and human service programs, basic nutrition education, and breastfeeding education.
