Full Time Nutritionist - Monongalia WIC Program: The Monongalia County WIC Program is seeking a Nutritionist for the Monongalia County office. Under general supervision, performs beginning level professional work by promoting and presenting public health nutrition programs. Performs related work as required. Public contact and travel are required.
The Nutritionist provides nutritional assessment, nutrition/breastfeeding education and counseling to WIC participants. The Nutritionist would be responsible for determining eligibility and certifying WIC Program applicants, providing necessary referrals, and prescribing a food package to meet individual needs. Will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans for low risk and high risk participants. Work is governed by federal regulations and state policies and procedures. Performs related work as required.

Medical Liaison - Health and Human Resource Specialist - Monongalia
Full Time Medical Liaison - Health and Human Resource Specialist - Monongalia WIC Program: The Monongalia County WIC Program is seeking a Medical Liaison for the Monongalia County office. Training: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. These liaisons will be the primary connection between the local WIC agencies and private practice health care providers (HCPs) with a focus on HCPs joining one of the WV Health Information Network (WVHIN). WV WIC is partnering with WVHIN to gain access to the portal which would allow for a more seamless collection of WIC participants and potential WIC participants anthropometrics data. Having this medical liaison help in the onboarding process of HCPs to the WVHIN will increase the repository of data available for the local WIC agencies. In return, the data collection portion of the WIC certification process will become more efficient.

Full time position in Charleston area for the Valley Health WIC Program. A nutritionist will serve prenatal and pediatric clients, providing nutrition assessments, education/counseling and referrals to WIC Program participants.
