DHHR Announces Closure of Applications for Emergency Energy Assistance Program for Low Income Residents

​West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Children and Families Commissioner Nancy Exline today announced applications for the Emergency Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) will no longer be accepted after 5 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016, due to an exhaustion of funds. The federally funded program assists eligible state residents in paying home heating bills.
