Excessive Card Request

All cardholders who order four (4) or more cards within 12 months will be contacted by mail and monitored to comply with new federal regulations.
  • The first letter is a warning and informs cardholders to contact the Office of EBT with their reasons for excessive card requests.
  • A second letter alerts the cardholders that IFM will investigate to ensure that fraudulent activity is not occurring.

To help avoid the need for multiple request:
1. Keep your card in a safe location known only to you.
2. Remember that cards do not expire.  If you stop receiving benefits for a period of time, please keep your card in a safe location in case benefits are needed again.
3. Ovoid using your card for anything other than purchasing food.  EBT cards are not tools and will break if not card for.
