Attention Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) Providers!

​Effective January 1, 2021, providers will no longer be required to obtain a physician (Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)) signature on a face-to-face encounter when covered DMEPOS items are ordered by a physicians assistant (PA), nurse practitioner (NP), or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
