Office of Adult Services
The Office of Adult Services assures and provides access to services and supports to meet the mental health and co-occurring needs of adults and transitional age youth, enabling them to live, learn, work, and participate actively in their communities. The Office of Adult Services also establishes standards to ensure effective and culturally competent care to promote recovery. In addition, the Office of Adult Services sets policy, promotes self-determination, protects human rights and supports mental health training and research.
Current programs and initiatives of Adult Services include: Adult Crisis Response Services; Advocacy Projects for individuals who were in long-term more restrictive placements and now reside in community settings or have other lived experience that can be part of their path to affecting service system improvements; Community Engagement Specialists; Complex Support Services; Continuum Enhancement Core Services; Co-Occurring Disorder Transitional Living programs; Customized Employment; Day and Community Support Programs; Drug Free Moms & Babies; Disaster Response and Disaster Case Management; Family and Community Support; Group Homes, Forensic and Forensic/IDD; Homeless, Housing Assistance, and Permanent Supported Housing Projects; Behavioral Health Outpatient Services; Justice Reinvestment Initiative projects; Recovery Homes and Facilities; Peer Centers, Services, and Coaches; PPW Residential Services; SBIRT; System of Care; TBI Programs; TBI Funds for YOU; WV Rx Charitable Pharmacy Program; IDD Waitlist Support;Unmet Needs and Unmet Needs Request Application.
