Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for Suicide Prevention

Learn the fundamentals of CBT for suicide prevention in this two-day, experiential workshop. Led by Marjan Holloway, PhD, from the Beck Institute, you will learn how to conceptualize clients, plan treatment based on that individualized conceptualization, establish the therapeutic relationship, and instill hope. This training will focus on identifying and assessing suicidal clients, implementing specific strategies for preventing and managing suicidal crises, and addressing ethical issues. The workshop will also cover how to elicit and respond to clients’ feedback, measure progress, and prevent relapse. Due to the experiential nature of this training, space is limited to 50 participants. If you are interested in attending, please click Apply. Deadline to apply is 7/15/22.
