Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative conversation style for strengthening a person’s own motivation and commitment to change. This evidence-based approach is relevant for care providers of all disciplines. In these five interactive sessions participants will learn about the basics of MI, its underlying spirit, the four processes that guide motivational conversations, the core skills used in this approach, and how recognize and elicit change talk.
