National Influenza Vaccination Week

This week continues National Influenza Vacciantion Week across the U.S.

According to CDC, significant increases in flu activity in the U.S. in the last two weeks indicate that an early flu season is underway. National Influenza Vaccination Week is from December 2-8, 2012.

West Virginia residents are reminded to consider getting the flu shot now, as flu is already being seen in several southern states.  To get a flu shot in West Virginia, contact your medical provider, visit a local pharmacy or stop by your local health department.
