Did you know that West Virginia had a 47% increase in the number of Lyme disease cases reported from 2012 to 2013? Do you know which counties are considered "endemic" for Lyme disease in the state? Are you familiar with the CDC-recommended two-tier testing for Lyme disease?

The West Virginia Bureau for Public Health (WVBPH), through a CDC-funded grant, will host a continuing education webinar to educate healthcare providers on Lyme disease in West Virginia. The zoonotic disease epidemiologist in the WVBPH will co-present with physicians from West Virginia University on various Lyme disease-related topics.


Target Auidence: Physicians, nurses, physician assistants, public health personnel, faculty, fellows, residents, students, and clinical staff.

Complimentary continuing education credit is available to the first 300 registrants.
