Chapter 504.14 Naloxone Manual Draft is now available for public comment until December 30, 2017

The Bureau for Medical Services (BMS) is now accepting public comments on Section 504.14 of the draft Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Waiver Services Manual currently available for public comment. Substance Use Disorders occur when the recurrent use of alcohol and/or drugs causes clinically and functionally significant impairment, such as health problems, disability, and failure to meet major responsibilities at work, school or home. Section 504.14 will be incorporated into Chapter 504 when finalized and addresses Naloxone Administration and Referral to Treatment by EMS personnel.
