Chase Debit Card Alert

Phone Calls

It has come to our attention that some of our Chase Debit Card holders have received telephone calls from someone claiming to work for Chase who tells them they have been hacked.  The call instructs them to go to a Chase Bank and deactivate their debit cards. They are then told that a new card will be mailed to them, but the cardholders never received the new cards.  Some of these cardholders have not been receiving their payments.

Please:  Use great caution if you receive such calls.  Anyone receiving a telephone request to cancel a BCSE child support debit card should call Chase's Customer Service number found on the back of your debit card to confirm that the request is genuine before taking action to cancel the card. Chase has opened a fraud investigation concerning this problem, and the BCSE will update this notice when further information becomes available.
