The Office of Epidemiology and Prevention Services (OEPS) is a part of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources Bureau for Public Health and consists of seven divisions including Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Immunization Services, Cancer Epidemiology, STD,HIV & Hepatitis and Tuberculosis. More than 85 employees help achieve the OEPS mission of tracking the occurrence of diseases, providing preventive interventions, and educating the public on protecting themselves from diseases.
